The man known for his incredible FlowStyle moves, Caesar Finies, is back, this time in a little more wind. Caesar maybe known for the lighter wind, big board, small sail trickery, but he can definitely pull off the top planing moves too as you can check out below.

Tris Haskins Second Fastest on West Kirby One Hour

On the 13th of May up at West Kirby, Tris Haskins took to the water in a 22-25 knot westerly, gusting up to 35. A solid five hours on the water and Tris clocked up some very impressive speeds, also managing to make his way into second position on the West Kirby speed over one hour all time list. Tris says the hour felt cruisy on his 5.0, although looking back he should have upped it to the 5.8 to really get some good speeds going!

More Action From a Windy Rhosneigr

Things are really hotting up as we get ever closer to the BWA Rhosneigr event, which takes place this weekend the 17th-19th May. Local man and BWA judge Lukasz takes to the waves again, showing the spot is really delivering; who will take the crown in a few short days time? Will it be a local battle between Ben Proffitt and Phil Horrocks? Or can one of the other pros sneak a victory?

Boards of course will be covering all the action LIVE from Wales and Ireland, with a Live heat by heat ticker, images, round up reports, interviews and more, so watch this space!

UKWA West Wittering: All the Action

We know the top three finishers in the pro fleet, we’ve heard from Tushingham rider Ollie Acton and now you can check out a video from all the action from the West Wittering round of the UKWA freestyle tour, which took place last weekend. Looks like the conditions in the trench were perfect and the top boys really showed what they are capable of.

As we mentioned earlier, there has been wind across some parts of the UK over the bank holiday. Did you get out windsurfing? If so where? And how did you capture the action? Shaw Wins Gold in Hyeres

Shaw celebrates another win as she takes Gold at the ISAF World Cup in Hyeres, a day ahead of her 30th birthday.

Bryony Shaw got the day off to winning ways for the Brits, and secured an early birthday present for herself in the RS:X women’s windsurfing event, finishing second in the first of her two medal races, before closing out the gold in style with a win in the final race.
“I’m really happy!” said Shaw afterwards, ahead of her 30^th birthday tomorrow. “I didn’t have the best of days yesterday on the last day of finals series, so was pretty fired up coming in to today. Two of my main rivals were over the line in the first race, so that was a big opportunity for me.
“I sailed really well, got good starts, and made some good decisions so it’s great that it all came together today when it mattered,” she commented

“I’ve had a great start to the year with silver at the World Championships and silver in Palma. I really wanted to keep that momentum going this week and come away with gold, so I’m really happy, and especially to have performed well across the range of conditions this week.”

Student Windsurfing Nationals…Who’s Your Money On?

Yup, it’s that time again. Thousands of students will soon descend upon the unsuspecting Calshot Activity Centre, for a weekend of hard fought windsurfing competition. Racing and freestyle competition for all levels will take place this weekend, combined of course with the odd party or two. But who will take the titles? Southampton Solent are looking strong, as are the Exeter ladies. Ollie Acton, Nicola Terenzi, Adam Chubbock, Sam Sills, Jo Wright, the list of talented competitors goes on, we will soon see who can overcome their hangovers to produce the goods!
