Last week Boards brought you the first video from the amazing conditions in Jersey; ending 2012 on a high the isle had been treated to the best wind and waves of the year. Now video nu,her two has been released, showing yet more great action in some very solid and clean looking logo high sets!

2013 kicked off in style with the BWA Tiree event being featured on Watersports World on Sky Sports, if you haven’t already seen it check Sky and record the next edition, it’s definitely a must watch! And whilst windsurfing was on the TV many of us have been treated to a windy end to 2012 and start to the new year as can be seen all across social media, as well as with galleries from Weymouth and Brandon Bay, and a videos from Jersey and Brogborough.

Another great video came from the SWA, this time of their Bad Education event in Nottingham. If you haven’t seen it take a look here, the SWA will be back with more events this year very shortly!

Boards are also super happy for Adam Sims who has been named as EFPT sailor of the year 2012! Congratulations Adam!

Jersey is well known for being one of the warmer places in the UK, however from the looks of this video from Robert Ayliffe and friends it was anything but warm this New Year’s Eve! The isle was treated to 40knot winds and mast high waves, a rarity on Jersey, making for some of the best waevsailing they have had in years. Check out the action in the video below.

Jersey showing itself in fine form…

A short film of some of the Jersey crew and their final session in 2011. This is Jersey at its best when the wind blows from the North West. Classic cross-on jumping with 3 to 5 foot waves and solid 25+ knots of wind at Secrets, the northerly launching spot of Jersey’s five mile beach. Most were using 4.7′s or 5.3′s on their smaller 75ltr wave boards. Featured riders were Justin Horton, Steve Melia, Grant Osborne-Smith and Rob Ayliffe (with the headcam).
