Purpose built and packed full of the latest 2010 Starboard, RRD, Tushingham, Severne, Ezzy and Naish equipment.

So if you see the van at your local sailing venue and would like to give some kit a go you know what to do.

SUNDAY 2nd MAY – Pugney’s Country Park, Wakefield.

Just over two weeks to go now till Windsurf 4 Cancer Research.  Last year we helped to raise money and made the Pugney’s event one of the most successful in the country.  It was a great day out, fun and games on the water for all the family.  This year we are helping to do the same.

We will be taking the demo van with us so there will be kit to try, plus stand-up paddleboards.

Wind or no wind it doesn’t matter we have lots of fun things going on

BOUJMAA GUILLOUL hits PUGNEY’s for National Windsurfing Week

Thursday May 6^th – Pugneys Country Park.

Morrocan PWA competitor and renowned daredevil Boujma Guilloul flies into the UK to run some exciting technique sessions.

Chris ‘Muzza’ Murray, one of the UK’s leading wave and freestyle sailors’ will be escorting fellow Starboard rider Boujma.  The plan is to visit RYA T15 and youth locations and run some clinics on the water for anyone that wants to come along. Boujma is one of the youngest competitors on the circuit and joined the PWA world tour as a youth.  He is a radical and inspirational sailor with a huge following on his local beach at Moulay in Morocco.

He plays a key role in the development of the wave and freestyle kit from Starboard and Severne – so if you have any questions on equipment, he can answer them.  Undoubtedly the biggest impact will be the opportunity to see such a flamboyant sailor in action, and listen to a few tales from around the world.

Juice Boardsports will be at Pugneys all afternoon with the demo kit, Boujma and Muzza should arrive about 3pm and will be at Pugneys till it closes at about 8pm.  If it’s windy see the pro’s in action on the water,  try some kit for yourself, if not great social event chat about kit, lifestyle and technique with two great pro windsurfers.

Pugney’s have kindly let us use there function room for the evening so from 6pm if its not windy we will have a presentation by Boujmaa and Muzza along with poster signings and a general chit chat.

Boardwise Monster Demo Van

No more late night Thursdays or Sunday opening – but Boardwise Cannock are offering Sunday demos at your spot. As Mark explains…

Just to let you all know about some slight changes to the operation of the shop for 2010. Following a review of the business in 2009 we have decided that we will no longer be open on Sundays as from the 1st February and taking immediate effect we will be closing at 6pm on Thursdays… so no more late night shopping, well, until further notice.

We hope that this doesn’t cause too much hassle for those of our customers who liked to shop on Sunday and later than usual on a Thursday. However, there is a silver lining… This means that we will have time to do more demos be they planned or impromptu. With this in mind if anyone wants our ‘Monster Demo Van’ (just ask Dave White to confirm, it does hold 18 boards and 18 fully rigged sails…) to rock up on a Sunday at there local spot then do give us a call 01543 505084 or send an email to cannock@boardwise.com so we can plan it and add it to our calendar.
