Danielle Lucas and Arrianne Aukes will be hosting a clinic in Dahab on the 3rd – 10th March.

While a lot of the UK is struggling with the icy cold conditions, why not think about getting away for some warmer weather and windy days! Last week Phil and Danielle from Getwindsurfing announced a lot of their dates for their 2013 coaching weeks abroad.

An exciting addition to these is for the week of 3rd-10th March, when Danielle, will be teaming up with Dutch Freestyler Arrianne Aukes to host a week of coaching in Dahab.

Danielle and Arrianne met whist competing in the PWA freestyle competitions, where this year Arrianne finished in 3rd place, Danielle in 7th!! They have since spent time together training in Egypt and the UK, and are very happy to be working together to get more people out there improving their skills and loving windsurfing.

They will be offering tuition for Intermediate and Advanced Windsurfers, so whether its getting harness and planing control, footstraps and waterstarts, or learning to carve gybe, chop hop or push on your freestyle moves this course is for you!

Arrianne Aukes on Simmer International

Female PWA rider Arrianne Aukes finished in 5th overall this year and is currently training hard in Brazil for the following season. Already sponsored by Simmer, this is no major change for her in terms of equipment, but it is a big step up the ladder for the young professional windsurfer. Here’s what she and the Simmer chief designer had to say.

Arrianne – “As sailing with Simmer Style sails as long as I can remember, it’s one of my dreams coming true, being part of the International Team of Simmer Style this year! And of course I’m super stoked as well to be in the team and I will try to make some good progress!”

Simmer Chief Designer Tomas Persson – “Some kids are brought up on bread and butter, Arrianne was brought up windsurfing. She is pure Simmer material, super motivated and enthusiastic. She finished 5th overall her first year on the PWA freestyle tour. With her growing bag of tricks and gained experience of competition we’ll see great things from Arrianne in the near future. We are stoked to have her on the team and look forward to following her progress.”
