West Kirby Speed – October 2011

Watch Ant Baker’s mission to West Kirby last Thursday 6th October, where he broke 45 knots on the speedstrip as many of Europe’s finest speedsailors clocked season’s best times. Other notable performers were Steve Thorp who achieved a peak reading over 50-knots on his GPS to break into the 2011 top 10, and Dutchman Jacques van der Hout who averaged 45.23 knots to lead the monthly table.
