How can there be a voting when all the asian countries are absent? And how can we haven misjudged the voting arena? Like one off the reactions below: Skipp the Finn if we want to have fast and spectacular sports.

The most important issue is: The windsurfing sport has been beheaded by this decission.Worldwide all youth and training programs are grinding to a halt. And so are the young potentials an our kids being grinded.

We have to get the dreams back for our young potentials and childeren throughout the world. ISAF has corrected a mistake once before, let’s do it again.

Surely the most interesting question which i still feels unanswered is WHY CAN’T BOTH SPORTS BE INCLUDED? they are separate disciplines for separate sports, but we have about 10 different categories for rowing, kayaking, weightlifting and a whole host of other disciplines where one person can win numerous medals. These are 2 different sports, with, correct me if I’m wrong, no one competing in both disciplines.

Hi I think the most interesting question was not answered. How can expectations about the voting can be so different from the actual outcome? Boards should dig deeper because understanding the political proces is crucial for november. what happened in heads of those who were counted in? Besides all the actions that are undertaken now, someone has to understand how this works in ISAF. Doing everything ISAF expected was not enough, was the lobby good enough?

Will put a link to this page on website, we should have both sports in the Olympics if Kitesurfing is ready, if there is a worry about medals, what relevance has Finn class got to normal sailing?
Kitesurfing is a non starter on small lakes with other sailing users there just isn’t space we have tried it but decided (apart from the continuos rescues in the early days) there was not enough space.
