Somewhat numbed and very saddened by the tragic event. Only heard recently about Mikeys passing away. Stayed with Mikey a short while in Tiree on my first trip there with Pirate 4 years ago, Mikey was an instantly likeable young man at the time. Met him again in Ireland year before last. Sincerest condolences to his family.

We saw the news a few minutes ago and could not actually think that Mikey passed away.. we are in tears and while reading this. We were talking about him this morning as he stayed at our accommodation when he came to Cape Town to our Kite Beach in Table View a few years ago. We are saddened by your loss and Mikey will always be in our thoughts. Condolences to the Clancy family for their sad loss.

Shit just tragic.. I.always liked his video’s after i’ve met him in brandon bay a few times and remember him saying ”crazy dutch people”.
