PWA Awards and Costa Brava to Kick Off
The PWA have launched the Islas Canarias PWA Windsurfing Excellence Awards, a brand new concept to the PWA in which everyone can get involved.
The Awards have the following categories:
Awards for both male and female riders:
- Biggest Wave of the year
- Jump of the year
- Best single Wave riding move of the year
- Freestyle move of the year
- Wipe out of the year
- Racing move of the year
One Award per category:
- PWA sailor of the year
- Honorary Award
- Photographer of the year
- Short film of the year
- Outstanding achievement in Windsurfing Cinematography
Entrants do not have to come from professional sailors, or from competition, nominations can come from anyone all you have to do is send the image or video to the PWA, all the information is right here http://www.pwaworldtour.com/index.php?id=1642
In other PWA news, the slalom racing kicks off in Costa Brava tomorrow, and if previous events are anything to go by we will be treated to some high octane racing!
