Mat Pearch blasting to victory

Mat Pearch reigned supreme with three wins out of 5 races yesterday afternoon in the second round of BSA Slalom over the weekend of 24-25 April 2010. Force 4 SSW winds allowed the race crew to set a 3 buoy downwind course with full fleet starts for both the Pros and the Amateur/Masterblaster fleets. It was really good to see Simon Cofield back on the scene with an impressive 3rd place.

The Pros were far too keen to start with the second race of the day having 5 general recalls as many of the fleet mistimed their run to the line.

In the amateur fleet Michael George dominated the moderate wind racing. And it was great to see the future talent of Saskia and Imogen Sills partaking and bringing some of the skills that they are developing in the Team15 Youth fleets to the slalom course. They both promise to be great talents in the future.
