For sure, they are good for it all, just a matter of preference. Most likely Braw will be on the Banzai sails through out the PWA season but I still ride on my Gurus and Levi goes back and for between the Eclipse and Banzai’s
Ive invented a new move… its called the Cool Whip – Forward into Air Vulcan! Would Ya? Ive heard Dita is trying them!?
Marcilio, do you think that the switch stance airchacho is possible?
never thought about that, but it sounds possible for sure, would love to try it at some point !!!
Francisco, do you think 4 batten sails are good for onshore conditions or just down the line?
Got any free kit? Lol
Thanks for all the questions…only 2 more minutes left, so be fast!
And Brawzinho, what differences are you noticing between the fanatics and your new Goyas?
They are different boards for sure. I love my current Goya boards , have been having so much fun, they are very fast , smooth and easy to sail on .
Hey Cisco and Brawzinho, thanks for taking the time to come on here! Cisco – if you could change one thing about the sport, what would it be?!
More events to show what these guys can do & More fun/humor doesn’t hurt
Francisco,
how old are your kids now? Have you got them out windsurfing much? Think there could be the next generation of Goya world champs?
Hi Michael, hahahh, I just love playing with them, the main thing for me is to show them how great just getting out there makes you feel then if they want to follow with comps and all that will see. So far my daughter (9) is really into music but also loves all the water sports and the boy (5) also it is all stoked on skateboarding and surfing but also chess, hahahha, we try soccer but only worked 1 time.
Brawzinho, are planning to use custom or production boards in competitions.
I am not sure yet, i have some prototypes now, and also been sailing the production line, so i will see about that when it gets closer to the contest.
Marcilio, after the push forward, what do you think will be the next big jump move we see on the PWA tour? Triple forward, double pushloop…?
Hum, thats a hard one. I think people are getting push forwards better and better, and its crazy to see how dry the guys are landing them. I think windsurfing is the only sport that changes the direction of rotations in the air . But , Ricardo have been almost there on the triples, and i heard so is Phillip , so i think we will have to wait and see !!!
Do you think double push loops are possible?
probably, i heard some one did it before, not sure who, maybe Jason Prior ?
Any new moves you are working on at the moment or just getting all the others perfect?
Hi Francisco, I met you on the beach on a demo day at Southend UK, do you remember swimming out to get you’re kit back from a Guy that was trying it? That was so cool. Lol, all the best. Gal
Guys, can you give me some tips for back loops please? Thanks!
Hi Francisco & Brawzinho, great news that Brawzinho has joined Goya and is continuing to push the limits of wave sailing. As a UK goya team rider I am interested in whether Brawzinho will be influencing the wave board shapes as I was told he had some pretty narrow, fast, low rockered customs previously the past year or so.
All the best hope to see you on the water somewhere soon ….
Andy
Hi Andy, great to hear from you. Man long time we don’t talk!! For sure, Braw is driving me crazy, he is leaving me behind on his wake. So far this year we made about 20 boards and the list goes on, it is just super exciting, we are learning a lot. Only if I could blame it all on the boards
Hey Francisco – what board in your range are you most proud of?
Off course the CUSTOM QUAD series and the ONE line but also I love the AIR 99 and SURF 202 it’s probably one of the boards I use the most with the family, etc.
Francisco, is there any chance we will see Levi switch to Goya boards someday?
Hi SS, everything is possible, still he is pretty happy with Quatro right now and at Goya we have a great team that I’m excited to explore the potentials.
Who would you invite for a party? (you can bring the dead)
I’d invite Patrick Swaze and Rob Dyrdek
With the latest addition to the Goya R&D team are the 2013 Goya Quads going to have a new shape for all sizes? Will the Goya brand ever have SUP boards?
Love my new 78L Goya Quad and Guru.
HI Damel, 2013 Goya boards will have the same shape and graphics. We will have a little surprise but can’t say yet
Hey Brawzinio, do you think you can beat Koster this year with all the events being Port tack?
I think its really hard to beat him right now on those conditions , but i will try my best and have fun on those contests !
Francisco, if I remember correctly, you are a keen cyclist… Do you still get to ride bikes, or are you guys just too busy running the shop and making amazing gear?
Oh yeah, I love it, here in Maui it’s so much fun, you get to be in a completely different landscape, weather in 20/30′ and it fully recharges me. Also going back on the board you just feel so much better, like it is the perfect balance for our sport.
Road cycling? Or mountain biking?
im good dude long time man looks like you doing good! sik work in the minds wide open dvd , hope to see you soon dude maybe austria??? or brazil,
Thanks a lot man, i would be in Brasil some time this summer!! let me know if you are coming??
yeah man will do good job and good luck see ya in brazil
Marcillio, what size boards do you normally ride? Youre one of the. Imager wave sailors, but that never seems to hold you back.
Normally around 84l, or over 90 when is light
Helps to have good waves!
Though you managed to make UK waves look pretty good when you were at Camber last year!!!
Brawzhino… We’ve seen lots of clips of Levi shredding in Hookipa lately, do you think he’s better than you at hookipa or do you have the edge?
Cisco….. With Brawzinho and Levi on the team things must be going well for your brand, well done!! Do you think with Brawzhino’s arrival Levi’s feeling the pressure and stepping things up?
Peace out….
Big rich
Hello big rich,
I am a big fan of Levi !!! i am happy we are on the same team and i want to learn from him
would be good to see a Maui event right now…
Hi Big Rich,
Levi was super stoked when he hear Braw was going to be in the team. To me these guys are the best in the world and they know it takes a team to put the sport where it belongs. I’m just grateful that I get to work closely with both of them and we are all doing our best to bring it across.
Hey guys
Francisco, Do you have any plans to shape slalom/speed gear?
Marcilio, , Any plans on doing PWA slalom in years to come?
Hello Kev, no slalom for me !! hauahuuau
Hi Kev, for sure, it is all part of the sport, I use to do some slalom and even course racing but you probably didn’t get to see me on the podium as much. It is just a matter of putting the right team together.
Hey Brawzinho, can you give me some tips for doing stalled forwards. can do low level ones, but struggling to stall them especially when overpowered…thanks!
Hey , i try to keep my knees tucked in and my front hand close to my body until you want to rotate, thats helps me to keep a bit of control
Marcilio..are u in a happy relationship?!will u marry me???
hahahahahahahahhahaah
Guessing we have a date so ……..
Francisco – whats your favourite wave board size? I know you used to sail pretty small boards. Has this changed now with multifins?
I ride a little bigger but not much, 68 still the most used board but the different is that now I’m still comfortable when I ride the bigger ones
Wow – thats pretty small still. I guess a lot smaller than most of the other guys? Why do you prefer to ride such small boards?
Really???? Do you not look down when you loop?
Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to chat, you are both such inspirational sailors! Quick question that is on everyone’s minds… do you ever see us going back to single fins for wave sailing? Or a multi fins still your main focus?
Hi SS, for sure, everything is in the rack, it is just a matter of taste, I see everyday people riding all kinds of different styles of fin set ups and all work, it is just great.
Sam good question! I’d also like to ask what your least favourite spot on the tour is? and why you don’t like it?
Hi chaps.
You both get to sail some of the world’s top spots that we all know of, but where do you think the great undiscovered / underappreciated windsurfing locations are likely to be?
Braw, where did you go ride yesterday? What is the plan for today?
lets go later in the after noon???? 4???
zzzzzzz
)
hey boy’s hope all is well, hey a quick question what are you most scared of????
Hey Colin, how are you man !!! i am scared of hight !!
Brawzinho you’ve been in some fairly incredible windsurf movies recently, any plans for any new big films?
Hello John , thanks for your words . As for now nothing big planned , but i will keep uploading short movies on my website . thank you
Francisco – How often do you get on the water these days? Are you too busy with work now or do you still get to sail a lot?
Brawzinho..I read that you have hurt your foot..is that right? Hope it heals quickly
Hello Erik,
yes, i stepped on my fin and needed a few stitches, but its healing good and i should be back in the water in less than a week !
Good luck with that..enjoy the rest!!
Brawzinho what is your focus for 2012? Top results or travelling? What events are you most looking forward to?
Hello Steven, for sure i want to do well on the contests, thats my main focus , but i am also looking forward to go somewhere uncrowded and new !!
Hi Guys!
Who else would you like to be part of the Goya team?
Hi
Going on about equipment, : Beawzinho what sails do you prefer among Guru, Eclipse or Banzai ? Depends on conditions or do you exclusively sail Banzai ? (which seems to be awesome sails !)
Hello Gwen,
I love the Banzai and i am ridding it full time.
Hi Francisco and Brawzinho. If you were to choose any wave spot in the world for a stop on the PWA Tour, where would it be?
Hi Sam, Marshall Is would be a dream, also Chile, Cabo Verde, Wadell, but really the most consistent place in the world and the one you will get the best action year round it’s Ho’okipa
Hey Sam, yes, would love to see it back in Hookipa
Hi Brawzinho and Francisco,
Brwazinho how are you liking being part of the Goya team? What new boards are you developing?
Hello Simon, i am really happy man, we are working mainly on quads now but wil l also try some thrusters and the next few days !
Did anybody got to ride today? How was it?
Not much wind around in the UK today…or this week
Hi Brawzinho, so after seeing Levi sailing thrusters and singles again, are you still only sailing quads or are you experimenting with other fin set-ups now?
Hello Dunx, As for now i am still on quads but i will be trying thrusters on the upcoming weeks and see how they feel
Hi What size quad do you use for 4.7 – 5m conditions?
