Dranske/Ruegen, September 16th 2004. The second day of the Formula Windsurfing Youth & Master World Championships 2004 brough optimal conditions for the participants of the Worlds. Again the weather was perfect with blue sky and bright sunshine. After the storm of the day before which brought the competitors to their limit with up to over 30 knots, Dranske presented itself with perfect formula conditions on Thursday. With 12 to 24 knots the numerous spectators could follow the maximum possible number of 11 races for the three fleets. The 98 competitors from 13 different countries were excited about the venue and the excellent conditions on Ruegen island.
In the Youth Fleet the fight got tougher on the second day. The strong-wind-expert Florent Renard (FRA-539) from France who was able to win all the races on the opening day had to be satisfied with second and third places today.
