Racing Day 3

Today saw another no wind/no race day here in Gran Canaria. The event crew was on the water at the slightest hint of wind and we almost went in to a start sequence but the wind line retreated off shore before the race could be started.

We waited all day but nothing changed so the sailors had another relaxing day checking emails, tweaking sails and sunbathing but no racing.

Tomorrow is the last day of the 2004 Gran Canaria event. Albeau (AHD/Neil Pryde), Buzianis (F2/North), Pritchard (Starboard/Gaastra), Williams (Starboard/Gaastra), Boulon (F2), Staszewska (Starboard/North), Horwood (Fanatic/North), Jaggi (F2/Arrows) et al will be hoping for wind…
